Yep yep yep. I told you i was going to Munich / München in my last post to do some job interviews and here's good news: got the best job i could think of. 12hour-bustrip -yay *cough*- glad i had a lot of books with me! Melly was so sweet to pick me up from the bus and let me sleep at her place, thank you again, i had a very good time!

So at first i had a meeting at the munich union / verdi to get some information on how much i could and should ask for in this area and what i should be aware of. Then i had three days full of job interviews, a few nice places, a few 'not so nice' places and a place where i felt totally happy and that company offered me a day of trial work on friday which i of course did. And it was soooo perfect. short sidenote: as geriatric nurse in germany in most of the places you run and run and run and leave sad faces behind, can't work the way you get taught during your apprenticeship and just hope everything will go well - which i'm sorry i can't accept, that is not what i did my apprenticeship for and is not what i want to do BUT there are other places, too. Places where you actually can care for people, show what you learned and where it is useful to continue learning. The place i did the trial day at is such a place, i was really happy when they offered me to start on june, 1st. I can live in one of the rooms there for a while, too so i don't have to panic during 'flat-hunt'.

Well, now you might ask why i would want to move to Munich anyways since the flats and living in Munich seem to be quite expensive compared to other areas in germany? Answer is quite easy: I know from my past that i only am happy in big cities (i want to go out, meet people without being scared of missing my train back home and when i'm hungry at 8pm i want to be able to go to a store and get something to eat! And i would die for a starbucks near me or lush or mac or WHATEVER! I even get annoyed when the people at the local bakery know what i want to buy o_O) which limits the places to live already. Then right now i live in an area where flats are really expensive, even compared to big cities and our wages are a lot lower (Btw, Munich has the highest wages for geriatric nurses in Germany). Whatever, from the 'remaining' cities Munich for me is the most beautiful one, a lot of green spots to spend your time at (and black spots, too), lovely dialect, lovely people - haaah, maybe i can find some nice guy there?

Any of my dear readers from munich area? :-D What are the places i should go to or places i should avoid?

That's it for now, next post will come after Wave Gotik Treffen in about 3 weeks - who of my lovely readers will be there, too? Let's meet! But now i will work a bit more on my pokemon sleeve and then start reading my new books :-D have a nice time & weekend :-*

very belated monthly theme post april - vintage

but since i really loved VictorianKittie's idea of that vintage theme post so much and have one (well actually i would have more but i'll focus on one and hope to remember the other stuff one day in the future) thing that i recently got that i really wanted to share.

so you probably know that feeling when something happens to one of your favourite clothing items and you are not able to fix it? this happened to me about two or three years ago with a leather jacket i found in one of the big house moving boxes - nobody knew who it was from anymore and nobody wanted it but me. so i always had some trouble deciding if i wanted to wear this jacket or my coat and one day made the wrong decision. firework and some drunk teenagers. do i have to say more? guess i should just have been happy that nothing happened to me but the jacket looked horrible and no chance to fix it at all.

so afterwards i've been looking for a jacket as lovely as this one was - vintage, 80's/90's style (bat-sleeve and so on) leather jacket (sorry to all vegans here). but didnt find what i was looking for for a long time until one sleepless night on etsy! seller said it was original 80's jacket and it is a really perfect condition, from a brand 'Augoyard & Gay'.

so here are some pictures of the jacket plainly lying on the floor, jacket when worn and two stylings with it

and i love this jacket so much, even if it is cold and still snowing this always freezing girl went out in a leather jacket instead of the thick woolen coat!

and on kittie's question of our favourite era in fashion i really could not tell, depending on my mood really!

so i guess that is everything for now and i hope you liked it. next post will probably be about my trip to munich (april 16th-21st) where i hope to be able to find a new job so wish me luck please (gosh please! 2x12 hours bus trip)! in the meantime as always feel free to take a look at my instagram (kakuidori) where i upload a new pic every day or two :-)

sooo much happening and here's a plan!

hey lovelies, it's been a looong time!

and here's a quick update of what happened:

- i'm sitting here with a piece of paper every week off work (as you might remember i currently work 7 nights, then 7 nights off) writing lists for myself of what i want my life to change to, what i want to do with this blog and so on. sooo i've started to stalk blogs again (mainly the ones that are in the ladies in black facebook group aaand lovely miss niki)

- so the plan for my life currently is: try to save some money but still enjoy some activities (though major plans are wgt & oktoberfest this year, maybe rockharz & some concerts and to get that chestpiece done) when i am in munich in late september / for oktoberfest i have to take a closer look at that city because even though i wanted & still would love to leave germany munich would have great chances for my future life and except the country would have everything i want for my new home (not moving for a guy or my family this time, big city with some places to spend my freetime with people of similar mind, better professional possibilities) moving most probably will happen after wgt 2014 (so i have a chance to relax myself one last time before that long stressful time will start)

- if you're bored you can always take a look at my instagram where i try to post a pic every day or two... http://instagram.com/kakuidori

- the plan for this blog currently is to do a post whenever there is enough stuff to say and when that moving / new life thing is happening i would like to share these things with you! especially when it comes to 'get to know all the places and changing my future flat into that cozy place!

so hope you all will have a nice time and see you soon!!
